another month, another update!
Now, I have to confess - I've been way too engrossed with the anime throughout the holidays in my free time.
If you've yet to read my previous post in February, welcome aboard! I'm syk, part time thinker, other part time oddball, but nevertheless a full time student.
This month - I will attempt to explain another concept that I've found interesting in Blue Lock - luck.
Let's look at the definition of luck:
What if I told you that luck, isn't purely by chance?
The above explanation in the video, shows a side of luck that many missed, even for myself - "Actively Waiting for Luck", rather than "Passively Waiting for Luck".
In most cases, most people would classify "Luck" as "Passively Waiting for Luck" - when the opportunity arises, then they will choose to take it.
But, for "Actively Waiting for Luck", the decision is already made beforehand - you choose to take it even before it exists, and before then, work towards strengthening oneself so that you are better positioned to fully find and utilize the "lucky" opportunities that arrive.
With these revelations, I am too, reminded of the many chances I wasted - but what can we do about those missed, spoilt cups of milk?
The answer is straight-forward: nothing.
Instead of dwelling on the long gone opportunities, I am taking this as a learning point to move forward and on how to advance further as syk.
My goal in sharing this with you is simple - I want you, who have taken the time to read through my thoughts, and are interested in finding out more ways to better oneself, to also be able to seize your own "luck" and be prepared when that happens.
I would also like to share with you a quote I found that I resonated with, and nicely sums up today's (rather short) monthly post:
When "luck" does come around, those who only sit back and watch, will invariably waste that chance. If you aren't prepared to take advantage of that coincidence. and only reach out for "luck" when its staring you in the face, it'll already be too late.
